When detailing plates, the plate thickness is listed at 0. You check the Model Browser, and the thickness is also listed at 0.
When you select the plate in the structure and go to the properties, you will see that the plate thickness is set correctly at 3/16”.
When you create the drawing, the Internal BOM lists the width at 0.
Precision in the Drawing and Model Structure behaves differently. Make sure that the precision is set correctly.
While in the Model Structure, select the Project Settings icon located on the Home tab Settings panel.
The Advance Steel Project Data property dialog box will be displayed.
From the Length unit panel, set the precision from 0 to 1/16.
Remember to load settings in Advance and save your changes.
Once completed, you must update the BOM list.
The Bill of materials now reflects the changes and shows the plate at the correct thickness!
